FAQ

COVID 19 SAFETY

Irish Fest Camden 2021 was granted an “event exception” for “mass gatherings” of more than 250 people for our Saturday, March 6, 2021 Irish Fest Camden event and our Lucky Leprechaun 5K race. Also granted an event exception is our Friday evening, March 5, 2021 Shamrock the Block event. These event exceptions were received after submitting separate applications to the State of South Carolina, Department of Commerce. Irish Fest Camden 2021 is using AccelerateSC and CDC guidelines to mitigate risk from the Covid-19 pandemic. Our event exception was granted in large part because our event is an OUTDOOR event with a population density less than 1,000 people per acre. Our Covid-19 Leprechaun is a physician who will be implementing suggested applicable measures to minimize Covid-19 risk to have a positively memorable, fun, and safe event for participants and visitors alike. We will be posting Covid-19 considerations on our website and will be using our Facebook postings to provide public information and required public education about how to reduce pandemic risk for our events. As part of our agreement to receive our event exceptions, we will follow all South Carolina mandates that may affect our planning and day of event activities.
