Irish Fest Camden is a family-friendly festival celebrating Irish and Celtic heritage in Camden, SC. The event was conceived by festival founder and director, Rebekah O'Hara. The festival is produced by Irish Fest Camden, LLC as a fundraising mechanism for charitable organizations in the community. The event has grown in just three short years to host over 3000 visitors at its festival held annually on the first Saturday of March.
Proceeds from Irish Fest Camden benefit Our Lady of Perpetual Help Catholic Church and its capital campaign to restore its historical structure located in downtown Camden. An integral part of Our Lady of Perpetual Help's mission is to support community building, social outreach and stewardship by assessing the needs of our community. OLPH participates and supports several community groups in Camden and Kershaw County, including Community Medical Clinic of Kershaw County, Food for the Soul, Habitat for Humanity and Fostering Foster Animal Rescue.
